The Edward J. Malloy Initiative for Construction Skills (Construction Skills) recently honored four individuals for their commitment to growing the diversity of New York City’s construction industry and expanding opportunities in communities across the five boroughs at the seventh annual Building Futures Awards Reception.

According to the New York City Council website, on March 21, Mayor Bill de Blasio enacted Introduction 247-A, a bill which amends the New York City administrative code to increase the civil and criminal penalties for performing electrical work without a license.
